Reviewer Guidelines

Al-IBROH: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Keguruan. These guidelines are intended to assist reviewers in evaluating manuscripts in a fair, objective, and constructive manner. Please assess each section based on the following criteria:

Presentation

  • Does the paper present a cohesive and logical argument?
  • Are the ideas and discussions clearly and coherently presented?

Writing Quality

  • Does the title accurately reflect the content of the manuscript?
  • Is the writing concise, clear, and easy to follow?

Length & Structure

  • Which parts should be expanded, removed, condensed, summarized, or combined for clarity and focus?

Title

  • Is the title concise and free from unnecessary or implicit terms?
  • Does it convey the main result or conclusion of the manuscript?
  • Are abbreviations avoided?

Abstract

Does the abstract include:

  • The aim of the study;
  • Method;
  • Result or main finding;
  • Conclusion?

Introduction

The introduction should clearly describe:

  • The background of the study;
  • State of the art and relevant research supporting the novelty of the manuscript;
  • Gap analysis and novelty statement;
  • Hypothesis or problem statement (optional);
  • The approach to address the problem;
  • The aim of the study.

Method

  • Is the method described in sufficient detail to allow replication?
  • Does it explain how the research was conducted (not just definitions)?
  • Are the location, participants, instruments, and data analysis methods clearly described?

Results and Discussion

  • Are the data processed (not raw) and presented in tables or figures with clear, supportive descriptions?
  • Are the results directly related to the research objectives stated in the introduction?
  • Are the findings consistent with, or different from, previous studies, and are these differences explained?
  • Are interpretations provided in a scientific manner?
  • Are the implications of the research discussed?
  • Are the research limitations acknowledged?
  • Are recommendations for future research or expansion of ideas provided?

Conclusion

  • Does it clearly answer the research objectives?
  • Does it include implications or recommendations (optional)?
  • Is it written in paragraph form (not bullet points or numbering)?
